Getting paid for your hard work should be the easy part...


Mercer Brokerage makes paying our carriers faster than anyone in the business a top priority. Get paid in about an hour when utilizing our truck stop scanning ($2.00 fee will apply) or terminal pay (no charge) options. All other settlements are paid within three business days of receipt of all billing documents at no charge. Mercer Brokerage makes collecting your pay easy.


Mercer Fast Pay utilizes the Scan & Go system located at all Flying J Travel Plazas and the TransFlo system located in every PILOT, LOVE'S, Bosselman's, Town Pump, and over twenty other independent travel centers. When the Fast Pay service is used, we receive your paperwork within ten minutes of it being sent and it goes into our system with the highest priority. The result is a fast settlement to you.


To qualify for fast pay the customer cannot require original shipping documents. Mercer Transportation reserves the right to decline Fast Pay to carriers not compliant with load requirements.


INSTRUCTIONS:


Call Mercer for your release number. Write your release number on all documents to be scanned.


Scan & Go:


  1. The first screen will ask you to enter Mercer's company PIN number, which is mcet00000.
  2. Place your first document face down on the scanner with the top of the document to your right. Press the START SCAN button on the touch screen.
  3. The kiosk takes about 10 seconds to scan and then asks you if the image is OK. If it is, touch the green IMAGE-IS-OK SCAN ANOTHER PAGE button or if you are done scanning select the IMAGE-IS-OK SEND DOCUMENTS button. You can also re-scan the document if necessary.
  4. When you are done you have the option to SCAN AGAIN or QUIT.
  5. If you need assistance pick up the handset on the kiosk (when available) and you will be connected to a 24-hour help line.

Transflo:


  1. Give the documents to be scanned to the cashier along with the Mercer's SCAC code: MCET. The cashier will then scan and send the documents and return the originals to you with a receipt.
  2. Call one hour after scanning to obtain your payoff Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.

REQUIREMENTS FOR FULL PAYMENT:


Fulfill our customer's shipment status reporting requirements (see load quote confirmation)


Within 7 days you must send shipping documents to Mercer Transportation Co Inc., P.O. Box 35610 Louisville, KY 40232 (not required when utilizing the Fast Pay options).


Failure to return the following documents will result in delay of your settlement:


  1. Original of Shipper's B/L (signed by the Shipper).
  2. Proof of delivery (signed by the consignee and showing the load origin, destination, commodity, pieces, weight, delivery date and time).
  3. The signed load quote confirmation.
  4. Actual cost of oversized permit and escort charges will be reimbursed after submitting copies of permits and/or invoices. The copies must be submitted within 30 days of the load delivery date.
  5. Mercer's trip and release number must be recorded on all documents for proper identification.
  6. Retain copies for your records.
